The FHS Performing Arts Center was full of music, energy, and recorder notes as Fayetteville Public Schools fourth graders took part in “The Orchestra Swings” with the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra! 🎶🎻

Through Carnegie Hall’s Link Up program, students experienced an interactive concert where they sang, danced, and performed alongside professional musicians. With support from APO musicians, FPS music teachers, and Fayetteville High School students, our fourth graders confidently played along and became part of the orchestra experience themselves.

It was a fun filled day of music making, movement, and memorable performances for students across FPS! 💜

In honor of Earth Day, 101 students walked and biked to school at Happy Hollow Elementary!
With parents and grandparents joining in, the group grew to nearly 120 participants!
Happy Hollow is proud to be a School of Conservation Leadership, and events like this help build healthy habits and care for our environment. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. This is just the beginning of a weekly initiative!

Ms. Johnson and her Happy Hollow students have been making the most of the beautiful weather during their recent bike unit! 🚲

This year alone, 73 students learned to ride without training wheels for the very first time, including 14 students who had never ridden a bike before. Along the way, students built confidence, practiced teamwork, and learned Greenway etiquette as part of the AGAF School of Conservation Leadership curriculum.

A special thank you to Ozark Off Road Cyclists (OORC) for helping support this experience and keep our students rolling! 💜

Happy Hollow Elementary hosted a beautiful Art Show that brought creativity and community together! Students and families enjoyed interactive art stations, face painting, and plenty of fun throughout the event.

One of the highlights of the evening was seeing student artwork beautifully framed and available for purchase, celebrating the talent and imagination of our young artists. Thank you to everyone who helped make this special event such a success!

Fayetteville Public Schools’ annual District Art Show is now on display at the Fayetteville Public Library! We loved seeing students and families enjoying the artwork together at the reception, featuring over 140 pieces from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

The exhibit highlights the incredible talent of our students and the inspiring work happening in our Visual Arts classrooms across the district. You can view the collection in the McIlroy Hallway near the Event Center until April 6th.

It’s School Resource Officer Day! SRO’s play an important part in our schools by not only promoting safety, but by bridging the gaps between law enforcement and our youth.

Bud Walton Arena was packed on Friday as more than 10,000 elementary students cheered on the Lady Razorbacks. The Arkansas Razorbacks took on UAPB during Elementary Day, and the energy was unmatched! Students, teachers, and staff attended for free, and the Lady Razorbacks brought home a big win with a final score of 101 to 49. BEST DAY EVER ! 🏀❤️🐗
